Early stages of a world government?
Laverne J. Riley jr.
Issue date: 12/7/05 Section: Opinion
With this in mind, the U.N. as in 1999 would certainly begin to think of ways to tax the internet for a globalized internet taxation process that will only perpetuate into further actions for a globalized economic and banking system; eliminating of national currencies, privacies and identities would surely follow.
The United States and its partners should take clear and decisive action to create web sections that are restricted and declared as political and nationally safe systems based upon the national and politically based culture in which one occupies. With ultimate control resting with one organization such as the U.N., disaster is lurking for all whom are free - democracy will be threatened through the indirect applications of a system all will depend upon.
So back to the major question that all people really must think about. If the internet is the future of all connecting systems, all processes and all technologies that anyone and everyone will obtain, operate and utilize... why, when, where and how does the U.N. believe they have the right to control such a system? Is this the bridge? Is this the bridging system the U.N. finally needs to occupy and centralize powers? I believe it is.
If you are concerned about this issue, which I hope you are, call your congressmen or senator immediately. All it takes is a handful of calls and politicians consider it to be a presentable issue. Do it today...your privacy depends on it.
