Publik Parking's premiere album deserves one word: incredible. Monica Kannai's voice holds the prowess of a wildcat. Powerhouse vocals back up a sensational mix of guitar riffs, drums and bass. Kannai growls out lyrics in "Lose Control," - song No. 3 on a four-song disc compilation, titled Everyday Was Yesterday.
Kannai's vocal range execution consists of extreme highs and lows with a taunting, playful quality. She incorporates meticulous sass and sensuality by stunning the audience with her deep lyrics and a high-to-low pitch delivery.
The band accentuates her unique delivery by coinciding stellar string arrangements and mind-jolting bass lines. Kannai proves to be a stellar front woman in a primarily male-dominated world of rock. Publik Parking's CD Everyday Was Yesterday, is a great CD for any rocker's collection.
